Case Study

Umasan Resort is a 5-star hotel located on the heights of Payangan, Ubud. In developing its branding process, Milestone explored multiple details to consider by conducting thorough research on devising site visits, competitor analysis, and interviews with cultural experts. The two biggest challenges for Umasan Resorts were its location in the remote area and competitors coming from established brands. At the same time, Umasan Resorts had the advantage of being a local brand.

Milestone developed specific characters for the brand carrying Indonesian local wisdom including Agama Tirtha itself and Tri Hita Karana philosophy. This was then adapted to the logo, brand messages, visual and architectural concepts, services, and facilities manifested the concept, translated into designs for marketing collateral, amenities, website, and digital platforms.
