Case Study

Divisi TIK (Divtik) Polri has devotedly supported the Indonesian National Police through high-grade information technology equipment and systems. Starting its footsteps from 2003 and through numerous name changes alongside role adjustments, the division supplies both software and hardware equipment for the optimal performance of the Indonesian police. Nonetheless, the previous logo of Divisi TIK was not a proper representation of the unit's growth and had an outdated design compared to the logos of other units in similar organizations/fields. As such, Milestone was appointed to refresh its visual identity by creating a new logo for Divtik. 

Taking into account both the philosophies of Divtik and current logo trends, Milestone designed a logo conveying modernity and the vision of the unit. Inspired by the shield shape and design elements related to technology, the logo represents Divtik’s role in providing IT support and can be applied to various platforms. Milestone also completes the rejuvenation of Divtik’s image with the slogan “Service Integration, Technology Enhancement” alongside a brand guideline to police the visual identity application. A strong visual identity will support the optimization of Divisi TIK Polri and continue to accompany its steps towards continuous growth.
